Welcome to the campaign website of Bruce Johnson 4 Eustis City Commissioner.
My goal is to educate and inform Eustis voters on my experience and background to secure your vote on November 8, 2022 for Seat #1 City Commissioner.
Commissioner Seat #1 is a 4-year commitment term which would be an honor for me to serve and represent the residents of the beautiful City of Eustis.
My wife Lori Johnson and I have raised our two children, Lindsey and Timothy Johnson, in Eustis and we have been blessed beyond measure over the years with the support of Eustis residents.
I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida until moving to Eustis 23 years ago.
In May 1982 I began my career with Orange County Government as a laborer and through the years continued to work in the construction field advancing my career to Foreman.
With a move from Orlando to Eustis, I continued my education in several areas including Water Distribution, Underground Utilities, Maintenance of Traffic, Environmental Protection, and Homeland Security with Emphasis on First Response and Hurricane Preparedness and Awareness. While working with Orange County for over 32 years in the Highway Construction / Engineering Field, this has given me a wealth of information / education to represent the City of Eustis Voters. During these years, I began my Fire Career as a Volunteer Firefighter for Lake County, Umatilla and part time paid Firefighter with Eustis thru January 2014. At that time, I retired from Orange County and ended my Fire Career to accept a Superintendent position on a $72 million Department of Transportation Project in Miami, Florida.
My goal is to represent Eustis Voters with Respect, Understanding and Comprehension with emphasis on an improved Eustis.
My desire is to give the Voters of Eustis, Florida an insight of my background and work history to gain your support to secure each and every Eustis Vote.
